The Accommodation Brokers specialise in purchasing accommodation for small to medium size organisations.  We are ex-hoteliers with over many years experience in the industry and apply this wealth of knowledge to assist you with your accommodation needs. We work in partnership with buyers and suppliers to seek innovative solutions, attain the best value and create collaborative purchasing arrangements.

Obtaining a detailed brief from our clients to understand the desired outcomes for their accommodation needs

Conduct quarterly meetings to ensure our clients are getting a 360 degree view on their accommodation usage and spend.


After obtaining a comprehensive brief from our clients we approach the appropriate accommodation suppliers that match our clients requirements.  We negotiate corporate rates for each of the room types, terms & conditions plus added bonuses based on achieving certain targets. These negotiate rates are then presented to our clients for approval.


Inventory is a very important part of the negotiating process.  No point in having the best rate in the world with access to the inventory.  The Accommodation Brokers ensure as part of our rates negotiations that we have full access to inventory 365 days of the year – this includes last room availability based on volume accommodation materialisation.


When negotiating Corporate Accommodation, The Accommodation Brokers also take into account the other components that can increase our clients overall travel spend.  Whether it be Food & Beverage, Carparking, Entertainment, Internet & Laundry Services we specific request discounted percentages based on the overall value of the travel spend by our clients to the accommodation suppliers.


We complete a comprehensive contract evaluation to minimize our clients risks which includes added clauses for full Covid 19 protection re cancellations due to lockdowns

We ensure that our clients interests are protected across all spectrums of the contract clauses.


Our communication and reporting program is the foundation of your corporate accommodation program. It outlines exactly how we’re going to get things done, and how we are going to get that across to our client. We identify how important information will be communicated to stakeholders throughout the corporate travel program. We also determine who will be receiving the communication & reporting, how our clients will receive it, when they’ll receive it, and how often they should expect to receive that information.

Through our many years of experience we understand what needs to be placed into contracts so that our clients are protected.  This also applies to bookings for accommodation that are not contracted – the terms & conditions of these need to have a flexibility so that unforeseen cancellations or amendments will not attract fee’s.

How do we do this?

We do not charge a management fee!

The Accommodation Brokers do not charge a management fee – As a licensed Travel Agent our management fee is covered as part of the standard commission paid by the accommodation industry.

We do not charge a booking fee!

The Accommodation Brokers do not charge a booking fee for corporate accommodation – As a licensed Travel Agent our management fee is covered as part of the standard commission paid by the accommodation industry.

Please note that booking fees might apply if we have negotiated corporate rates from a supplier that are nett of a commission to us.

We do not charge cancellation fees!

The Accommodation Brokers do not charge a cancellation fee if your corporate accommodation needs to be cancelled – this is included in our service.

We do not charge amendment fees!

The Accommodation Brokers allows one amendment of the accommodation booking to be free of charged.  Any amendments after this will be charged at AUD$10.00(including GST) per amendment.

We do not charge administration fees!

The Accommodation Brokers do not charge a administration fee – This is included in our overall service.

Our analysis reports are at NO COST to you!

The Accommodation Brokers do not charge a fee for our reporting – This is included as part of our service.

The Accommodation Brokers can supply monthly reports at NO COST to summarise all the bookings and expenditure for the previous month and year to date transactions.

There is three ways that payment can be applied:

1) The Accommodation Brokers can open an account with your organisation and we will submit a monthly invoice for payment based on the accommodation or services used.

2) Your organisation submits a master credit card in which all transactions will be applied.

3) Your employees utilise their own corporate credit card for payment at the time of the booking.

In general the answer is no, however based on the circumstances relating to the cancellation suppliers will offer refunds if the reasons are valid.

What do I do if I’m travelling and an emergency or natural disaster occurs?2020-11-09T15:50:06+11:00

Because you are working with a travel management company, there is a risk management plan in place. We will contact your employer as soon as we are aware of the disaster and will inform all parties involved of necessary next steps.

Our volume of accommodation bookings also allows us to have preferred arrangements with suppliers worldwide. We first assess your accommodation history and any existing contracts you may have. This allows us to make recommendations about preferred partners as well as what type of travel policies your company should have in place with the goal of adding dollars to your bottom line. We then make sure that all employees have the understanding of how to book their accommodation needs.

The Accommodation Brokers are paid a commission by the properties that we book on your behalf. We do not charge for our services. Bookings fee’s will apply if we have negotiated nett rates with the accommodation supply as part of the client contract – the booking fee is AUD $10.00 per room per night including GST. We offer one free amendment for individual bookings – a AUD $10.00 amendment fee will apply above the first free amendment. We do not charge cancellation fees for our services (please note based on the rate type you have purchased cancellation or amendment fees may apply from the supplier) and we do not charge administration fees or reporting fees for our services.
