This hotel refused to consider refunding my booking when I told hotels.com I had flu symptoms and did not want to travel. The hotel took two days to respond negatively- I could not possibly recommend this place in light of their unreasonable behaviour in the face of the corona virus threat.

Poor Services & Management, very disappointing!
Poor bedding, no water for a day long, long chair very old, poor mattresses, no free water in your room, expensive meal 4000 Fr per adult, cheese rotten served. No information offer to visit the key spot of the island, very disappointing! Lock door broken for half day lost. Do not clean your room every day. Manager not available at the hotel, very poor leadership.

We stayed for 2 nights in Nov 2019. You go to this place only for its perfect and beautiful location…. just have the right expectations: it’s not a 5* hotel, its prices can be misleading. Service is friendly but subpar, nobody will help you carry your luggage, any order at the bar will take forever, food is so-so.. My advice is just to go there for 1 or 2 nights, relax and enjoy the view. If you have a car, there are good eating options around, diving at the campsite nearby…

Hard to rate this property because everything in Noumea was stressed because of coronavirus. It was a convenient location for us but don’t wait too long to find dinner nearby as restaurants close early.

Great short stay – friendly staff, clean and comfy
A great one-night stay. Conveniently located (walking distance to downtown Noumea area (also some excellent bakeries), helpful front desk and comfortable bed. Good shower pressure and free wifi. A bit warm in the hotel but can’t really be helped given the weather; room AC however works really well. Airport shuttle service was really handy but be sure you book it at least 24 in advance – we left it very late and were very lucky to be able to still utilize this service (otherwise a taxi is twice the price).

From the front this is a seemly modest hotel but first impressions can be wrong. Le Stanley is a wonderful hotel, the location is superb, the views amazing and the staff were so helpful. I plan to visit regularly.

Très bien reçu avec le sourire comme chez des amis, nous avons bénéficié d’une “case” très bien décorée dans un style très sympa. La literie y est excellente. C est un bon choix pour s’évader de Noumea. Excellent week end en tout cas …

Notre séjour était sur deux nuits. Super accueil de la responsable. Nous avons eu la possibilité d’utiliser la cuisine extérieure d’un autre bungalow pour réchauffer nos plats et faire notre vaisselle. Tres bons conseils touristiques et sur les commerces environnants. Secteur calme. Café offert à notre départ. Nous n’avons ni dîné et ni petit déjeuné. Excellent séjour à 30 mn de Prony. Propreté impeccable. Nous reviendrons.

Ok but watch the wifi
All ok especially with a great Italian restaurant less than 1km away (Mama Mia). Wifi was patchy though, and even the staff had trouble connecting

Opposite kone airoort. Coonvenient for flights to heart of Voh. Along Highway. Dark rooms, being repainted in lighter colour. Bad reading lights . Good tapas meal.

Great location for a large 3 bdr apartment with large deck overlooking the sea. Shopping and dining are in the immediate vicinity. However the upper exterior of the building was very dirty.
